Associate Scott Ginsburg was quoted in “Bill would eliminate “open-space” tax exemptions for recreational buildings” published in the March edition of the Illinois Bar Journal. He discusses how clubhouses on golf courses should be valued based upon their commercial use as opposed to as open land, which has a significantly lower assessed value for property tax purposes.
