Hilarie M. Carhill
Hilarie advises and represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. She defends employers in claims under Title VII, Title IX, the ADA, the ADEA, and other state and federal employment laws. She handles EEOC and administrative investigations, including workplace complaints of harassment, discrimination, violations of civil rights, violations of employer policies and benefits, and disciplinary issues. She drafts and reviews separation agreements, employee contracts, and employee handbooks.
In addition to employment law, she practices traditional labor law including representing employers in collective bargaining agreement negotiations, labor arbitration and grievance proceedings, assisting clients through representation elections, and providing advice and counsel regarding labor management relations.
Prior to joining Robbins Schwartz, Hilarie worked as an active duty Judge Advocate in the United States Army and gained exposure to federal labor and employment law. She has experience representing clients from all walks of life and prides herself on the ability to connect with her clients and advocate for their desired legal outcome.
