Vy’Shaey practices in the area of labor and employment law. Vy’Shaey represents employers with issues and claims involving discrimination, harassment and retaliation, employee discipline, wage and hour violations, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, union collective bargaining, grievances and unfair labor practice charges.
Prior to working for Robbins-Schwartz, Vy’Shaey defended Class I Railroads on matters involving Title VII, Section 1981, FELA and FRSA. She also previously worked as an Assistant Attorney General, representing various Illinois Agencies, as well as a judicial law clerk in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Honorable F. Valderrama.
Vy’Shaey currently works as an adjunct professor at DePaul University College of Law where she teaches Advanced Legal Writing to third year law students.
