John “Jack” counsels employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including employee discipline, labor relations, and federal and state employment discrimination matters under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Illinois Human Rights Act, Title VII, and other federal and state anti-discrimination and wage laws.
Prior to joining Robbins Schwartz, Jack worked in the Labor Relations Department of a steel mining and manufacturing company. In that role, he counseled management personnel on compliance with collective bargaining agreements; advocated on behalf of the company in grievance hearings, labor arbitrations, and before various administrative bodies; as well as represented the company in the course of collective bargaining.
