Hasti Anderson

Hasti practices in the area of education law with a focus on special education and student matters.  She counsels school districts and community colleges regarding 504 accommodations, IEP meetings, student discipline, Title IX, student records issues and policy development. She assists school districts and community colleges in responding to complaints from the Office for Civil Rights, Office of the Attorney General and Illinois State Board of Education, as well as representing public school districts in residency hearings, student discipline hearings, and due process hearings.

Prior to joining Robbins Schwartz, Hasti represented the Chicago Public Schools in a range of school law related matters. Previously, Hasti served as the Salisbury Clinical Teaching Fellow at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she taught in the Civitas ChildLaw Clinic and supervised law students in the representation of children in a variety of legal matters.
