Guy C. Hall

Guy C. Hall provides legal representation to a multitude of businesses, including electric cooperatives and health care institutions, across a wide spectrum of issues, such as governance privacy, policy development, creditor’s rights, contracts, real estate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and employment matters. He also serves as an advisor to local governmental entities, particularly park districts, offering guidance on compliance, transactions, and taxation.

Guy’s expertise extends to counseling health care entities concerning Medicare and Medicaid, reimbursement disputes, health care services liens, and policy development for regulatory compliance. As a member and former Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Health Care Section Council, he has been deeply involved in health care legislation. He has offered guidance to hospitals and physicians on policy and procedural development as well as operational concerns, including equipment acquisition, real estate, leasing, and financing.

Moreover, he has provided counsel on privacy matters, including medical records and HIPAA. Guy’s legal practice also involves advising on election and political party designations, candidate qualification requirements, environmental issues, demolition suits, and ordinance drafting and enforcement. He is well-versed in laws such as the Open Meetings Act, Freedom of Information Act, and other federal and state regulations.
