Dennis Weedman practices in the Decatur office where his emphasis is on labor and employment law. He represents school districts, community colleges, municipalities, and local governmental bodies in labor and employment litigation, including complaints and charges of discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, civil rights violations, matters before the labor relations boards and in labor arbitration hearings. Dennis also serves as a negotiator and advisor for collective bargaining agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Dennis was labor relations counsel with the Illinois Department of Central Management Services.
The Illinois State Bar Association has selected Dennis to serve on the Labor and Employment Law Section Council.
Dennis is frequently a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois-Springfield on Arbitration and Labor Relations Issues.
