Longstreet provides legal representation and litigates on behalf of school districts, community colleges, municipalities and local government entities in administrative and court proceedings in matters involving tax assessment and tax exemption law. Scott is a former Co-Chairperson of the Real Property Group, Young LawyerÕs Section of the Chicago Bar Association and a former adjunct professor at Triton Community College. He has completed various assessment and valuation classes from the Illinois Department of Revenue and the International Association of Assessing Officials and is a Certified Illinois Assessing Official-A. Before joining Robbins, Schwartz, Scott was with the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board as one of the original Hearing Officers in Cook County. Scott was subsequently a co-founding partner with Steinfink, Park & Longstreet, P.C. in Chicago representing taxpayers in tax assessment appeals. Education
