Frank B. Garrett III represents school districts, community colleges, municipalities, local governmental bodies and public and private companies in all aspects of employment litigation, including complaints and charges of discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, civil rights violations, employee discipline and discharge issues, tenured teacher dismissals, grievance arbitration, collective bargaining negotiations, union representation petitions and union elections, unfair labor practices charges and employment contracts.
Frank represents clients in state and federal court, at the trial and appellate levels and before the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Before joining Robbins, Schwartz, Frank was Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago. In this capacity, he defended the City of Chicago in a variety of discrimination claims and civil rights actions. He also prosecuted employees of the city before the police and personnel boards for violating city rules and policies.
